Refund policy

Exceptions / Non-returnable items
Global Delights does not accept returns for perishable or custom-made items, including sweets, candy, food, groceries, drinks, and soda with less than two months' best-before date upon delivery, as well as gift hampers.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Damages
We follow two golden rules when packing your treats:

1. Never skimp on packaging

2. When in doubt, pack it like it's going on an adventure!

However, despite our best efforts, we can’t always guarantee that your treats will arrive exactly as we sent them. If your delivery box looks like it’s been through a wrestling match but the goodies inside are fine, go ahead and dig in!

Since unfortunately, we can’t control how the couriers treat our boxes (we suspect a few snack-loving yetis might be involved). To keep those snack monsters at bay, we’ve sealed our gift boxes with anti tamper tape.

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, Global Delights will gladly offer a free replacement upon receipt of photographic evidence. This helps us process a claim with our courier and recover the cost of the damaged goods.  

If you prefer, we can issue a refund instead, provided the damaged items are returned to us.

Heat Damaged Items
During the summer months, there is a risk that chocolate and other heat-sensitive candies may melt during transit. Once your order leaves our fulfilment centre, we have no control over the temperature conditions it may be exposed to, especially in warm delivery vehicles. If your items arrive melted, simply allow them to cool at room temperature or place them in the fridge to return to their normal state.

Melted items are not considered defective or damaged, and our returns policy does not apply to them.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
